Della Mae Cotton 63 of Abilene passed away December 29, 2017 at Hendrick Medical Center. A Memorial service will be held Friday January 12, 2018 at Faith Deliverance Community Church; 5501 US Highway 277 South Abilene, TX. 79606 at10:00am. Della Mae was born March 27, 1954 in Abilene TX to Tommy and Bobbie Coplin. Della received her primary education from Abilene public Schools. Della lived in Abilene and worked as a Assistant manager at K-mart for many years before her illness made her unable to work. Della was preceded in death by Parents: Tommie Edward Coplin Sr, Bobbie Lee Coplin, daughter Jessica Cotton, grandparents: Willie Payne, Henrietta Payne,brother,Tommie Edward Coplin Jr. , sister Bobbie Jean Porter, Uncles; Cecil Hill ,Willie Payne Jr., Earlie Payne, and aunt Ruby Payne. Left to cherish her memories are: Son; Rodney Cotton of Abilene, daughters: Orkisha Cotton of Abilene, Jacquelyn Cotton-Abrone of Duncanville. 2 brothers: Bennie Ray Coplin of Abilene and wife Veronica, Jerry Coplin of Abilene, sister : Cynthia Coplin of Arlington, Cousin that was like a mother Jean Crain of Abilene. 1 aunt – Annie Laura Jackson of Abilene, 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
