Debra Lynn "Debbie" Alley, 69, of Brownwood, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, while surrounded by her family at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas. A celebration of life will be held in the spring, when she will fly away to her final resting place in the mountains, dancing with the pines. Debbie was born on October 28, 1955, in Logansport, Indiana, to Wilson DeVoss and Margaret Dean. She is survived by her son, Billy Spires and wife Rosemary of Snyder; her daughter, Johnnie; grandchildren Heather, Emily, Hunter, Jammie, Justin, Gunner, Ashlee, and Konner; great-grandchildren Adilyn and James; her sister, Teresa Graves and husband James of Brownwood; along with many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson DeVoss and Margaret Dean; sisters, Marvella Rodriguez and Ronda Rainey; and her daughter, Jammie Faries.
