David Jones age 77 of Abilene passed away at his home Thursday April 30, 2015. A visitation will be held Friday from 6-8pm at Dove Funeral Home located at 2500 N. 1st. David Jones was born September 9, 1937 in Milam County TX, to the parentage of Lourinza Jones and Ethel Washington. David received his education from Milam County schools. Being the outgoing person he was David was a jokester and loved to make everyone around him smile and laugh, he also loved to have fun with his family and friends. Preceding him in death are both parents, three sisters Viola Moore, Ida Mae Banks, and Evelyn Jones, four brothers Willie Jones, Lorenzo Jones, Charles Jones, and L.C. Jones. Left to cherish his memories are sister Juila A. Stevenson-Taylor of Abilene Tx. And numerious nieces and nephews along with a host of extended family and friends.
