Dale Robinson 64 of Abilene passed away Monday January 23, 2017 at Abilene regional Hospital. Funeral Services will be held Saturday February 4, 2017 at 2:00pm at the Southwest Park Baptist Church, located at 2901 S. 20th St. A visitation will be held Friday from 6-8pm also at the church. Dale was born February 26, 1952 in Breckenridge TX to the parents of James and Dorothy Dean. Dale received the first part his education in Breckenridge Schools before moving to Abilene and graduating from Abilene High in 1969. Soon after high school Dale joined the United States Marines. During his time as a Marine Dale was assigned with the task as a Sharp Shooter. After returning to Abilene he worked at Michelin Tires for many years, and his most recent employment was a Manager at Quick Lube. Dale was always on the go, he loved to Travel. He loved the cowboys, and he loved listening to Oldies. When the family would get together Dale would love to play a game of Chess, Dominoes, or Solitaire on his computer. Dale would take joy in watching Star Trek, and Old Cowboy Movies. Left to Cherish his memories are; daughter LaKeesha Robinson of Odessa Brothers: Johnny Dean(Michelle), Edward Dean (Creesha), Charles Dean, Jamie Dean, all of Abilene. Three sisters Chris Dean, ella Mae Dean, Trish Dean all of Midland, 3 grandchildren who he loved dearly, long time companion Joyce, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Dale was preceded in death by both parents, and four brothers, James Dean, Larry Dean, Howard Dean, and Marcus Dean. Funeral Services entrusted to Dove Funeral Home.
