Cynthia Lucille Dowdy, 57 years old, of Brownwood, Texas, went to be with the Lord on March 8, 2024 in Brownwood, TX. The family will have a private service at a later time. Cyndi was born in Borger, TX to Joy Crossland and Hans Hansen on June 6, 1966. She married the love of her life, Rickie DWayne Dowdy, on February 14, 1986 and they just celebrated 38 years of marriage. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and her cat, Spaz. Cynthia Lucille Dowdy was preceded in death by her mother, Joy Crossland Hansen, father Hans Hansen, granny Lucille Davis Crossland, and grandad Claude Crossland. She is survived by her husband, Rickie DWayne Dowdy of Brownwood; Daughters, Krystle Kinder and husband Kacey, of Oyster Creek; Rikki Dodd and husband Kevin of Lubbock; Son, DKota Dowdy of Brownwood; one grandson, Cooper Dodd of Lubbock; and one sister, Jamie Hansen of Rockport.
