Cornelius Dessivia Jr "Buckwheat" 46 of Rule passed away Tuesday July 14, in Haskell TX. Funeral Services will be held Saturday July 18, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Rule TX. A visitation will be held at the McCauley Funeral Home in Rule Friday July 17 from 6-8pm. Cornelius was born October 6, 1968 in Haskell TX to the parentage of Cornelius Sr. and Mae Helen Dessivia. Cornelius received his education from Rule Schools graduating from Rule High School. Cornelius, Also known as Buckwheat, loved fishing, hunting, and camping. Cornelius loved driving big trucks and was a truck driver for many years. Left to cherish his memories are Father Cornelius Dessivia Sr. of Rule, Son TyWayne Baker of O'Brian TX, and Jaden Damar Dessivia of Abilene. 4 sisters Doris Williams of Rule, Mary Bagley (Willie Sr.) of Abilene, Joyce Dessivia of Abilene, Mary L. Dessivia of Abilene and brother Willie Dessivia of Abilene. 5 nieces, 2 nephews and a host of extended family and friends. Cornelius was preceded in death by mother Mae Helen Dessivia, Maternal Grandparents Willie Williams, and Stoice Williams, and Paternal Grandparents, John Dessivia, and Louretta Dessivia.
