Clifton Lee Graves, 70 years old, of Brownwood Texas, passed away in Abilene, Texas on May 3, 2024. No funeral services will be held. The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date. Clifton Lee Graves, known as Lee by family and friends, was born in Brownwood Texas to Cloise Graves and Jackie Preston Graves on November 14, 1953. He graduated from high school in Vicenza Italy. He married Gloria Thacker on April 6, 1972, in Brownwood Texas. He was a veteran and served in the US Army. He was 509th Airborne Infantry SPEC 4. He was a Lifetime Member and Master Mason Grand Lodge of Texas - Indian Creek No. 807, Bangs No. 926, and Scottish Rite of Texas. Lee also attended Cisco Jr College for draftsman engineer, worked in construction, and retired as a mechanic. Clifton Lee Graves was preceded in death by his mother, father, sister, and brother. Clifton Lee Graves is survived by his wife, Gloria Graves, daughter Chara Smith and husband Michael, daughter Shouna Hathcock and husband Chris, and son Brandon Graves, Brothers Cloise Graves Jr., Kevin Stacy, Jesse Wilson and a sister Sonja Deeds, Grandchildren Kaycee Smith, Gage MacDonald, and Ava Hathcock.
