Claude James Baker, 75 years old, of Santa Anna, TX, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2023, in Dallas, TX. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 2, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Brownwood Funeral Home with Pastor Nathaniel Baker of Mt. Calvary C.O.G.I.C. being the Eulogist. Claude James Baker was born in Santa Anna, TX to Sylvia Edwards and Tony Baker on November 18, 1947. He attended Santa Anna High School in Santa Anna, TX. He was married to Joyce Faye Henderson from Brownwood, TX, and from that marriage, they had two children; Claude James Baker Jr. and Reggie Oba Baker. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Army. Claude James Baker was preceded in death by Joyce Faye Baker, his brothers Odell Baker, Jim Albert Edwards and John Tony Baker. Sisters; Eva Mae Holloway, Cossette Jackson, Claretta Baker Hartford and Christiana Miller. Claude James Baker is survived by his daughter Tiffany Jones and his sons Claude James Baker Jr., Reggie Oba Baker, and Drafonza (Drew) Hall Bell. His grandchildren Ezra Elijah Baker, Brayden Baker, Olivia Baker, Shania Jones, Kaden Jones, Destiny Bell, Deundra Bell and Drafonza Bell Jr. His brothers Nathaniel Baker, Tony Baker, Jr., Kerry Baker, Gerald Baker, Samuel Baker, Earl Rankin, Jackie Baker and Robert Edwards. His sisters Wanda Jackson, Annie Mae Hubbard, Mary Ann Payne, Ollie Baker and Suzan Perryman, and many nieces and nephews.
