Obituary

Carolyn Ann Randle-Galloway 71 of Brownwood received her heavenly reward, at her home, Sunday December 27, 2015. A service of praise and celebration will be held Saturday January 2, 2016 at Victory Life Church at 11:00am with Pastor Eddy Hays as the Eulogist. A visitation will be held Friday January 1, 2015 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church from 6-8pm. Carolyn was born July 8, 1944 in Mason TX, to the parents of Ed Randle Sr. and Eleanor Mason. Carolyn received her education from Mason Schools graduating in 1964. After graduating Carolyn then moved her family to Fredericksburg TX. In 1967 the family came to Brownwood and she would reside here until her death. In 1969 Carolyn started a career with Superior Cable and retired in 2007 after 38 years. Carolyn was a quiet, very humble lady who loved her family and more importantly she loved God. in her younger years Carolyn loved to play volleyball and would spend countless hours playing softball. Carolyn was a long-time faithful member of Mt. Zion Baptist church. After retiring Carolyn took up the hobby of Playing Bingo, she was a avid Bingo Player and would spend numerous hours doing what she loved. Carolyn was preceded in death by Father Ed Randle Sr. mother Eleanor Mason, and grandson Christopher James Ratliff. Left to cherish her memories are, 3 sons James Henry Galloway Jr., Jackie Louis Galloway (Gelilah) and Eugene Roy Galloway all of Brownwood, daughter Elizabeth Ann Galloway (Joseph) of Lockhart TX. 5 sisters Nokie Randle of Brownwood, Eddie Ann Burton of San Antonio TX, Fayrene Randle of Pflugerville, Dorothy Randle (Edward) of Brownwood, and Jacquline George (P.J.) of Pflugerville TX., and brother Ed Tom Randle Jr. (Connie) of San Angelo. Grandchildren, Eugene Jr., Keyana Michelle, Jackie Jr., Gazelle Galloway, and great-grandaughter, Adylee Galloway. Long-time companion Smith McArthur Jr., best friend Helen Dennison, and a number of nieces, nephew extended family and many friends.
