Caroline Elizabeth Thames Edens, age 80, of Brownwood, TX, passed from this life on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, in Brownwood, TX. A Graveside Service will be held at Mineral Cemetery located in Mineral, TX, at a later date. Caroline was born in Beeville, TX on October 19, 1944, to parents James Robert and Myrtle Brandis Thames. She grew up in Mineral, TX, and attended school in Pawnee. While living here in Brownwood, Caroline was a member of the Baptist Church and attended "The Church of the Lord of Jesus" located in Blanket, TX. Caroline was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Michael Edens. Caroline is survived by her children Richard Hansen and wife Belinda, Crystal Cloud and husband Billy, and James Maroon and wife Estella. Her sisters, Shirley Johnson and husband John, Bobbie Mounts and husband Steve, along with numerous grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons.
