Bryanna Lee Berniard (affectionately known as Yanna), 22, formerly of Brownwood passed away at her home in Grand Prairie Texas on Thursday December 19, with family by her side. A memorial service will be held Friday December 27, at 11:00 am , at Victory Life Church where Pastor Stan Roberts is resident pastor. The Rev. Stafford Thompson will deliver the message of healing. Yanna was born March 2, 1991 in Brownwood Texas to the parentage of Lisa Gray and Draco Miller. She was a graduate of the 2009 class of Brownwood High School. After graduating Yanna briefly attended Cisco College in Abilene. In August 2012 Yanna moved to Grand Prairie to be closer to her mother and sisters. Yanna leaves to cherish her memory mother Lisa Gray (Michael) of Grand Prairie; Father Draco Miller (Sonja) of Brownwood. Sisters Latonia Gray-Dennis (Colwin) of Grand Prairie, Tiffanie Berniard of Grand Prairie, Natosha Miller of Brownwood, Symone Miller of San Angelo, and Tiffany Hunter of Brownwood. Brothers Draco Miller Jr. (Dejoundla) of Eastern New Mexico, Mirris Ray of Abilene and McKenzie Tilmon (Amy) of Irving. Nieces Ania Dennis, Madisyn Buckley, Amari Star, Daja Miller, and Londyn Ray. Nephews Devionte Fuller, Nehemiah Ray, Lyric Ray, Mirris Ray, and Michael Tilmon. She also leaves to cherish her memory her paternal grandmother Doris Powell, several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Bryanna was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Wayford Roy Cotton and Mary Lee Gray, paternal grandfather Jesse Powell, her daddy who raised her as his own, Randy Berniard and grandmother Vivian Inez Berniard Yanna accepted Christ at a young age and assured her family that her salvation was secure before her passing. She was a free spirit who always considered the feelings of others above her own. Yanna would tell you without hesitation that Devionte and Ania kept her going, they were her heartbeat. Yanna loved her family deeply and her biggest concern before passing was that her family would be okay. Yanna was deeply loved many, even complete strangers. God used her journey to healing as a tool to change many lives. Her legacy will never be forgotten and she will forever live in our hearts.
