Bridget Sheree Mims Spencer was born in Anson, Texas to Jimmie Malcom Mims, Jr. and Betty Jane Griffith on July 19, 1967. She recently completed new member classes at Coggin Avenue Baptist Church and was excited to be a part of that congregation, and also her Sunday School Class and Bible Study Class. She was a faithful follower of Christ and dearly loved her church family as they loved her. Over the past ten months she witnessed the Glory of God through the love and fellowship of this family and gave back as much love as she received. Bridget went home to be with her LORD one day before her 57th earthly birthday on July 18, 2024, to meet face to face with the One who loved her so dearly and had moved mountains and parted seas for her. Her sweet smile and contagious laughter will be greatly missed. She is survived by her daughter Laramie Hash and 4 children Tristan, Urijah, Bently and Serenity. Her sons, Chance Elliott and wife Lacey and 3 children Brian, Daegan, and Gaige; son Ryan Elliot, girlfriend Rachel and daughter Maya. Sister Tiffinie Greenrock and husband Dale and 2 children Dax and Lyssa. Brothers Steve Soseby and wife Leanne and 2 children Aiden and Aaron; brother Cody Sosebee and wife Melissa and 3 children, Slater, Jackson and Madelyn. Also by numerous aunts and uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by both her father, Jimmie Malcolm Mims, Jr. her mother, Betty Jane Griffith. and step father,Roger Sosbee. We, the adopted family of Bridget, wish to extend our sincere thanks to Hari Kalla, MD, Kevin Bridge, MD, the fantastic doctors, nurses and aides at Hendricks Health System North (T5 & A3) and Hendricks Hospice Care in Abilene, TX. They made her homegoing a beautiful transition. A memorial service and burial will be announced at a later date.
