Brian Keith Sharrer, 47, of May, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016, at his home with family by his side. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at the Pleasant Grove Baptist church located at 14501 County Rd. 405 at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Charlie Fortenberry presiding. Brian was born November 28,1968, in Kermit, TX, to the parents of Keith and Kay Sharrer Zeboski. Brian graduated from Kerens High School in Kerens, TX, in 1986. Soon after graduating, Brian joined the United States Air Force and served in England as an Aerospace Ground Equipment Mechanic. After his duty in the military, Brian returned to New Mexico and that's where he met and married the love of his life Patricia Murphy on May 23, 1992, in Lovington, NM. Brian worked in the Oilfield for many years and also was a truck driver. In May of 2002, Brian and his family moved to May, TX. He was employed at R &S, which is now Solaris, as a welder, for 14 years. Brian was a crafty person who enjoyed making things out of metal and wood like boot racks, saddle stands, and BBQ pits, if he could think of it he could build it. He also loved to cook, but most of all he loved his family. Brian was preceded in death by his mother, Kay, and step-father, Bill Zeboski. Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 24 years, Patricia Sharrer, of May, two sons, Dakota Lee Sharrer and wife Gema, of May TX, and Jessie Eldon Sharrer and wife Jasmine, of Lake Worth, TX, sister; Tami Van Winkle and husband Jerry of Lovington, NM, brother; Kevin Sharrer and wife Sunday of Kilgore, TX, and father, Keith Sharrer, of Pauls Valley, OK, and numerous nieces and nephews.
