Bonnie Kaye Jackson,62, of Abilene, died Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Hendrick Hospice Care surrounded by her family.
She was born in Hamlin to Johnny B. (Green) Marshall and John Charles Marshall, Sr. She was a longtime resident of Abilene. She worked as a cook for over 30 years. She truly loved to feed everyone she met. No one could resist her peach cobbler.
Bonnie leaves to cherish her memory: her special friend J.B. Turner; two sons: William Covington Jr. (Monica) of Austin, Shannon Covington (Monica) of Abilene; one daughter: LaSheba Covington(Quincy) of Abilene; Grandchildren: Briona, William III, Octavia, Xzavier, Joshua, Josiah, Marcus, Danielle, Jaiyana, Annyssa, Anton, Chris, Aleanna, Diego, William, Antanasia, Quincinya, Durel, Quinton; Great-Grandchildren: Sophia, Eli, DeAndre, Xae'dyn, Anyia, Tyson, Ray Tavion; two brothers: Shelton Marshall (Alice) and Wayne (Cadillac) Marshall both of Hamlin; one sister: Mary Ann Coleman of Abilene, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends and her favorite niece Doris (White) Valentine.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters: May June Marshall, Eddie May Jeffery and Faye Jean McGee; two brothers: John Charles Marshall Jr. and Larry Marshall.
