Billy D'Wayne Bonnell 68, of Santa Anna passed away Friday, November 26, 2021. Services will be held December 1, 2021 at 10 am at Brownwood Funeral Home with burial to follow at Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene, TX located at 7457 W. Lake Rd, Abilene, TX 79601 at a later date. Billy was born October 5, 1953 in Monroe, LA to Gracie Mae and Billy Joe Bonnell. He received his primary education in Iraan, TX and played football while attending school. He enjoyed driving Semi Trucks and in his spare time would ride motorcycles and loved to fish. Billy is preceded in death by his wife Janie Bonnell, parents; Gracie Mae and Billy Joe Bonnell, sister; Grace Jean Beaver and brother; Jerry Walter Bonnell. Left to cherish his memory is daughter; Elizabeth Katie Marie Bonnell of Brownwood, sister; Janice Bonnell Fields (Jimmy Ray) of Alton, MO, sister-in-law Polly A. Bonnell also of Alton, MO. 3 grand kids; Serenity, Makenzie, and Manuel all of Brownwood, TX along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Services are entrusted to Brownwood Funeral Home.
