In Loving Memory of Billie Dolores Smith August 3, 1934 - October 3, 2025 Billie Dolores Smith, 91, of Brownwood, Texas, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025, in Brownwood. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Cowboy Cemetery, with Barry Fikes officiating. Billie was born in Baird, Texas, to Jackie and Adell Benson on August 3, 1934. She attended Hart High School in Hart, Texas, and married the love of her life, Robert "Bo" Smith, on July 22, 1954, in Hobbs, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jackie and Adell Benson; her husband, Robert Smith; her sister, Paulene Caudell; and sisters-in-law, Pat Benson and Nelda Benson. Billie is survived by her son, Rex Smith and wife Sylvia; their children, Tracy Smith and Bryan Smith and wife Aldana; and Bryan's children, Jackson and Adela. She is also survived by her daughter, Dee Ann Musick and husband Rodney Musick; Dee Ann's children, Brooke Bennett and son Ian, Robbi Bennett, Amber Howard and husband Kasey Howard and their daughters Emberlynn and Taliyah, and Megan Musick and son Elliott. She also leaves behind two brothers, R.L. Benson and James Benson. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Alzheimer's research.
