Obituary

Aurthur Lewis McIntee 65 of Abilene passed away at his home Saturday January 2, 2016, with family by his side. Graveside services will be held Friday January 8, 2016 at 11:00am with Pastor McLendon officiating, a visitation will be held Thursday from 6-9pm at King Solomon Baptist Church. Aurthur was born February 3, 1950 in Medon TN to the parentage of Willie Elmore McIntee, and Gracie Mae Fuller. Aurthur also known as "MAC" was baptized at an early age at Maple Springs Baptist Church in Mercer TN. Aurthur graduated from West High School in Denmark TN, Soon after Graduating he became African American Land Surveyor in Tennessee. He Then Joined the United States Air Force and served until his retirement in 1992. After retirement he was a private contractor for the Government. Aurthur was a longtime member of the Prince Hall Masons, and a handy man who loved to fix things, while in the Airforce he worked as an Air Craft Mechanic. Aurthur was preceded in death by Father Willie Elmore McIntee Sr. sister Pearl Harris, and two brothers Marv Yvars McIntee, and Willie Elmore McIntee Jr. Left to Cherish his memories are Loving wife Lind Hall-Peoples McIntee of Abilene, 6 sons Darren Billings of Jackson TN, Donald Hall of Houston TX, Walter Turner (Kassandra) of Fort Worth, Chris Turner of Abilene, Jarvin Hall (Kaci) of San Antonio, and Aurthur McIntee Jr. (Christina) of Plainview TX. 3 daughters Lynn Turner of TX, Tonia Cormier (Eric) of Jasper TX, Audrey McIntee of Fort Hood TX, 26 Grandchildren, Siblings, Francis McIntee of Rock Island Illinois, Brenda Simon (Abe) of Beaufort, South Carolina, Beverly Clark(Charles) East Moline, Illinois, Nancy McIntee, Evelyn Anderson (Jerry), & Sandra McIntee all of Jackson, Tennessee.Special nephew councilman Anthony Williams, and a host of God Daughters,God Sons, extended family and many friends.
