Arlan Torres 37 of Brownwood passed away, Wednesday November 1, 2017 at his home with family by his side. Funeral services will be held Saturday November 4, 2017 at 11am at the Brownwood Funeral Home located at 2512 Belle Plain with burial to follow at the Rocky Creek Cemetery. A visitation will be held Friday from 6-8pm at the Funeral Home. Arlan was Born May 20, 1980 in Lamesa TX to Severo and Elva Torres, he received his Primary education from Leveland TX, Schools. In 2000, Arlan relocated to Brownwood and worked several jobs including Kohler, and J&S Construction and most recently Home Depot. Arlen was an outdoorsman, he loved to be outside, he loved animals especially his Roosters and Chickens and he loved fixing cars. Arlan was a selfless person, he never complained, and would do his best to help others at any given moment. Arlan was preceded in death by mother Elva Torres, and Brother Jesse Torres. Left to cherish his memories are Father, Severo Torres of San Saba, sisters: Ashley Garcia and husband Ivan , Teresa Torres and husband Dennis Jimenez, Monica Medcalf, Maggie Young, and Olivia Barnheart and husband Rudy Rodolfo. Brothers: Billy Torres and wife Martha, David Torres, Gilbert Torres, Santiago Torres, Steve Chavarria and wife Vanessa, Kaleb Metcalf and wife Amber Dotson, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
