April Walker 48 of Abilene passed away January 2, 2016 at Hendrick Medical Center. A memorial service will be held Saturday January 16, 2016 at 11:00am at Galilee Baptist Church. With Pastor Bobby King officiating April was born December 5, 1967 in Hamlin TX, to the parentage of Marien and Robert Walker. April attended school in Hamlin Texas and soon after moved to Abilene. April then Moved to Bryan and would spend the majority of her adult life there before returning to Abilene to be with family November 2015. She loved to play dominoes and just be around family and friends. April was preceded in Death by Both parents, and son James Walker. Left to Cherish her memories are Son Robert Walker of Abilene, Brother Larry Cherry of Abilene, a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
