Annie Mae Lyons-Turner better known as "Mae Mae" passed away at her home Friday October 14, 2016, a Visitation will be held Friday from 6to 8pm at the Dove Funeral Home, with Rev. Riley Hood to say comforting words at 7pm. Mae Mae was born June 10, 1923 in Baird TX to the parents of Walsh Lyons and Pearl Brown-Lyons. Annie was a very giving and nurturing, who spent a life time giving her time taking care of and helping others. Mae Mae was a hard worker and before her health began to fail she raised chickens, Pigeons, and goats. She worked for Dr. Ramsey and Dr. Richardson for many years. In her spare time you could find Mae Mae at the local fishing hole relaxing and spending the day fishing. Left to cherish her memories are daughter Estella Fitzpatrick of Abilene, Brother Clarence Lyons of Abilene, 2 grandchildren, 4 greath-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and many friends. Mae Mae was preceded in death by brother Oscar Jones, husband Baker Turner, 7 Brothers,and 4 sisters.
