Adeleen Rodriguez-Mendez 60 of Brownwood, passed away August 18, 2019 at Songbird Lodge Nursing Home. Mass will be held Saturday August 24, 2019 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, at 10am. Visitation will be held Saturday from 8-9:45am at the Brownwood Funeral Home Chapel. Adeleen Rodriguez-Mendez was born February 8th, 1959 in Brownwood Texas to Gregorio S. Rodriguez Sr. and Mary Louise Rodriguez. She first attended Brownwood schools then moved to Baird, Texas where she was a Cheerleader, honor student in various classes and later graduated from Baird High School with honors. After high school she moved back to Brownwood and was employed by GTE for many years. Some of her hobbies included fishing and traveling. She loved music and being around her family. She is preceeded in death by son Philip Mendez Jr. and Parents Gregorio S. Rodriguez and Mary L. Solis- Rodriguez. Left to cherish her memory are her children; Veronica Mendez of Houston Tx, Stephen Mendez of Baird Tx. Six grandchildren and Three great-grandchildren. Brothers; Gregory Rodriguez Jr of Conroe TX, Henry Kubicek of Conroe TX, and Alfredo Delgado of Brownwood TX. Aunt Ada Perez and Uncle Johnny Perez, Aunt Delores Ramirez and Uncle Juan Ramirez, Aunt Sandra Perez and Uncle Marcus Perez. Numerous cousins, extended family and Songbird Lodge friends.
